What is Artificial intelligence?
Simulation of human intelligence in machines is known as Artificial intelligence. In other words creating intelligence machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions.
Humans can think, rationalize and act accordingly, similarly machines with artificial intelligence can rationalize and take actions that have a best chance of achieving a specific goal.
What is intelligence composed of?
1)Reasoning:
Humans think to make logical conclusions and make predictions from available knowledge, facts and beliefs.
Similarly in artificial intelligence reasoning is essential so that the machine can think rationally as a human brain and function like a human.
2)Learning:
Machines can be trained by machine learning, which deals with the construction and analysis of systems that can be learned from datasets by itself.
For example, machine learning systems can be trained on email messages to differentiate between spam and non-spam messages.
3)perception:
perception is the process of obtaining, interpreting, selecting, and organizing sensitive information.
Perception senses, where each of the different types of sensors converts a specific type of simple signal into computer data. The job of the perception mechanism is to combine data and understand them.
In AI, the study of perception often focuses on the reproduction of human perception, especially the perception of the sound and visual signals.
4)problem solving:
Problem solving is the process of defining a problem, determining the cause of the problem, identifying, prioritizing and selecting alternatives to a solution, and implementing a solution.
5)linguistic intelligence:
Linguistic intelligence is the ability to understand and use spoken and written language.
Computational linguistics emerged as part of artificial intelligence about the processing of natural language. NLP (Natural Language Processing) is a technology that uses natural language to communicate between humans and machines.
Natural language processing is a field that includes computer understanding and manipulation of human language.

1. Virtual assistant or chatbots - Designed to make conversations with users using natural language processing. They can respond all the queries and commands of users.
2. Agriculture industry - AI is used to help farmers in collecting and analyzing farm data like crop and soil conditions, smart irrigation and fertilizing systems.
3. Shopping industry - AI recommends products based on past purchase and interests and also provides chatbot support.
4. Security and surveillance - Like face recognition
5. Sports analysis and in gaming industries
6. Automobile industry - self driving cars and autonomous vehicles has AI monitors, sensors for detecting and preventing any dangers for vehicles.
7. Health and clinical industry - AI is helping doctors from disease prediction to surgery.
8. Navigation industry - AI is used to recommend new route based on past records and also to keep track of traffic in particular area.
9. Home automation - AI is reducing our day to day tasks like switching on/off AC, TV anything from where ever you are.
